Travel Bugs

All you can do is keep going. I have a bunch of exciting things coming up this year. First on the list, Europe for a month! My sister and I are taking off the jolly old England thanks to WestJet 250 dollar deal to London. When we first started planning we were going to do the whole shebang, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Greece, Italy etc. The more we were talking about the more we realized we would be travelling between places for more time then we would actually be in the place enjoying the experience.

We are going to London, Greece and Italy. One my best friends is working in London and already has a bunch of amazing activities planned out for us. Next Greece. Emma was there in high school and has always wanted to take me. I found a sweet hostel in Santorini and she already has us signed up to rent ATV's and ride around the island.  FINALLY the rest of my family (Dad, Mom, Ty, Uncle and Aunt) are coming to meet us in Italy. We have rented to amazing Airbnb's. One is on the Amalfi Coast and the other is more north in  Tuscany.

What's your next big adventure? If not now, when?

Do you think we can get all this done in 3 Days? Its ambitious but so are we.

25 and Killin it..

I just read something saying around new years, birthdays, beginning of the weeks people interest in starting new activities peak. I think my 25th birthday is the perfect reason to start back up with everything. I may not start going to the gym as consistently but I will start writing more.

25 is BIG. Its the year Jessica Simpson was dreading so why can't I (jump to 34 seconds in on the video clip so you don't miss the magic) . I am a typical person who hates birthdays. I hate time passing and at a speed which seem hyper sonic.

My sister every year plans something amazing for me on my birthday. This year my girlfriends planned a wonderful day and night. It was a beautiful day in Toronto.  It went a little something like this:

Gusto

Next Stop

Sweet Jesus

(40 minute wait in line but our nail appointment was not until 7:30 so we had time to kill)

Her Majesty's Pleasure

awesome nail bar... literally its bar where you can get a manicure, pedicure and blowout

Easter Birthday!

If you're not turning 18, 19, 21 or a child your birthday can quickly become a dreaded event. People are weird around their birthday it is like a personal New Years Eve. Thinking about the past year and the year to come can be daunting. I knew I had to turn the day around and make it special. You only turn 23 once!

This year my whole family was together at my parents’ house to celebrate Easter and their first born, me! My always-supportive sister helped me create a day I won't soon forget. The sun was shining and the snow has melted. We went and picked up 24 balloons for 30 dollars from Party City (two ended up flying away so it was lucky we had the extra). Before we went back home we stopped at Blackbridge for the first look. Its not a quiet road so onlookers must have thought we were nuts.

Everyone look beautiful in their pastels. I am wearing a top I got on sale from J.Crew, Sexy Boyfriend jeans from the Gap and Steve Madden flats from The Bay.

23 purple balloons
My puppy, June (she is a failed guide dog on purpose so she could stay with us)
Love the spring colors!

Mike & Jon were troupers and we love them for it

The day called for a walk in the forest still dressed in our easter finest
Hope you spend the holiday weekend with those you love, I know I did!

How do you guys make your birthday special?

Always Ayr <3
